About
Kyle A Koch is an industrial design student at the University of Cincinnati’s school of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP). He is currently working on point of purchase displays as a structural designer.
During highschool, Kyle thought he wanted to be an engineer, until he met calculus. He soon parted ways with advanced math, and hasn’t had much contact since. Kyle was the Managing Editor for Lakota West High School’s student run newspaper The Voice, and was responsible for graphics, cover art , page layout and ensuring the paper made it to press by deadline. Kyle decided to leave the newspaper prior to senior year after some issues with editorial censorship and some cover art for a story about the potential distribution of condoms in highschools.
During the summers, Kyle found employment as a lifeguard, manager and swim instructor, in addition to teaching swim lessons and lifeguard certification courses. Kyle left the water safety business to pursue his interests in technology.
Kyle currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with his wife, son and three dogs.
